Specifications
The FDMA fire damper is available in both manual (FD) and motorised (MFD) versions. The manual FD can be operated and functionally tested with an externally resettable manual handle which is locked in the open position and held in place with a fusible link. On thermal activation of the link (at 72°C unless otherwise specified) the damper fails to the closed position. For the MFD, the actuator drives the damper open when powered and tensions an internal spring, the damper will spring close on activation of a thermal fuse (BAT), interruption of the power supply, or activation from a fire damper control system. The FDMA damper includes two access hatches built into the casing along with endoscopic camera slots for inspection/maintenance.
